Drive Image 2002
I just tried to extend the drive by using Diskpart and it seems you cannot extend the current system or boot partition according to the Microsoft Win XP product documentation. Any extension can only occur on an NTFS formatted file system. Does that mean I need to format as a separate partition?- anabol20

Thanks for that Comtec17. How would I make the drive just one big C partition? I have tried the extended option but this is just giving me 2 partitions, one of which is not showing up under "properties"? Do I have to accept it as a separate partition and just assign it a drive letter...- anabol20

Drive Image 2002
I have just used DriveImage 2002 to copy my 27gb Fujitsu hardrive onto a new Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 80gb drive. Now, although BIOS recognises the drive as 80gb, everywhere in Win XP Pro such as Control Panel, Hardware Devices etc shows it as a 27gb drive. How do I get Win XP Pro to recognise...- anabol20

Replacing boot drive
I am going to replace a 27gb Fujitsu boot drive with an 80gb Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 7200 ata/133. I am running Windows XP Pro and was going to use DriveImage 2002 to copy the drive. Maxtor has its own installation s/w and I wondered if I could use that instead of DriveImage? Any tips on the...- anabol20
