    Found this... NTVDM.EXE is the 16-bit NT subsystem (used for DOS apps and 16-bit Windows apps). The error is probably caused by a mismatch in the NTVDM./EXE and KERNEL32.DLL versions (NTVDM.EXE might be looking for a function entrypoint that was introduced in a later version of kernel32.dll)...
