The folder section of explorer on desktop at startup
My son installed The Sims Menue Editor and this seems to have caused a Startup Problem. When Windows XP startup, the Lefthand Folder section of Windows Explorer appears on the desktop and I can't close it down. CableInstaller, The original version of MFW I have was packaged with VIRUSSCAN V7 which I downloaded from the Mcafee web site the date on the downloaded package is August 2002. I think the version of MFW I have is personal firewall. I hav'nt had a chance to try what you have suggested yet but... -
