finally solved... Protocol 47 doesn't play nice with PAT under the 6.2 software. I upgraded to 6.3(1) and did the fixup for 1723 and PPTP goes through the Pix without a problem. --rob- rlittletht

Just unpacked my Pix 501; standard out of the box config. (PAT, dhcp to internet, fixed ip on the local lan) I connect using Win XP RAS (VPN) to my corp. vpn server. With the 501 installed, I can no longer authenticate with the corp. vpn server (it connects, but fails on password verification...- rlittletht
