Again, thanks for the input. MSN does not appear as an "add/remove" option in the applet. Further, HKLM>software>ms...does not reveal a folder called "Connection Manager" As mentioned previously, the error appears right after the machine is fully booted up. Before, clicking...- agent1966

Thanks to you all, but nothing is helping. I did read yesterday that this problem had to do with either the MSN profile or AOL. However, the machine I'm on has neither service installed. It is a 98SE Machine from Gateway. The message appears immediately upon Boot up. I tried the search in...- agent1966

Has anyone seen this error message? If you have, how did you resolve it. The only reall information I could get was on the HP Pavillion site. I'm on a gateway, and the fixes it suggested, don't apply to mine. No real loss productivity coming out of this, but it's an annoyance that I'd like...- agent1966
