    Have you hard set the connecting interface on both switches to 100Mb/s Full Duplex? As a policy, always set connecting interfaces in a fixed environment. Don't leave any of them on auto. Steve.

    Hi, I've tried off the shelf cards in a couple of 6000 sup and it didn't like any of them. I decided not to risk it any more (the card is used as a backup boot source) and got the 24Mb cards from Cisco. Strangely enough, I've had no problems at all with those. Hope this helps.

    Is your router running RIP? Use "show ip protocol" to see. If you do a "show isdn hist" and keep refreshing the command using the up key/enter combo, do you see the idle timer get to around 26 to 30 seconds then reset? This is a sure sign that rip routing updates are...
