I have a report in Access 97 I am trying to build. The report is for classroom surveys. I have the averages for each question across the survey. What I need is one average across all questions (class average) and an average for sets of questions on the survey:Q1-Q3, Q4-Q9, etc. I am having...
How do I write a formula (or is there some other way) to take a static percentage, say 10%, and calculate the number of times that percentage can be taken of a number to ultimately reach a particular threshold.
EX. 10% of 10 is 1
10-1 is 9
10% of 9 is .9
9-.9 is 8.1
10% of 8.1 is .....

I have fields that contain a figure in seconds. I then divide that by 3600 to get hours, but I may get 2.75 hours. How do I convert the .75 to read .45 (minutes)?
This issue is throwing off other calculations in my reports. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I have a report grouped by day, and by thirty minute segments of that day. The report returns a distinct count of the number of associates available to work each half-hour period. The issue I have is that I cannot figure a way to total (or average) the number of associates available the entire...
