I had a file that looked like:

I don't know how it got there, and I couldn't delete it. After reading this thread I tried:
rm -i *print*
which worked as advertised.
Thanks for the response. I didn't try nslookup, but netstat -nr did indeed show the IP addresses. (I didn't recognize them by name, but they are my ISP's primary and secondary name servers.
