Gettign an invalid handle message after upgrading to XP?
If you upgrade to XP Professional and find you can't start Photoshop 7 and get a message "handle is invalid," check to see if you have the Wacom driver installed on your system. Remove it and all should be fine. I haven't yet checked if the newest version of the Wacom driver avoids this problem.- hinman

Problem starting Photoshop 7 in windows xp??
I have the same problem with Photoshop 7.01 on Windows XP--it won't start and I get a "handle is invalid" message. First I tried reinstalling Photoshop, that didn't help; then uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same problem. Can't find anything on the Adobe site. Did the first...- hinman
