Okay, that doesn't work!!! When I copied the CATBAK folder back to the active server it had 10GB of files in it. I did a catalog backup job and it has overwritten all the files in there so there is just over 2GB of dfata in there. What's happened to it all? Is there anyway that I can get the...

As a follow up I finally managed to restore the files. The problem was that the destination server was set to the server I originally tried to restore to, once I changed it away it went. Still don't know why I couldn't restore to a different server though. Andrew.

The path does exist and it should have the correct permissions but just to make sure I did put the Novell client on the backup server and then map a drive to which I tried to restore to. I logged in as admin so all rights were there. I did try to restore to the local hard drive and it did...
