Well I did make the install now. I shut down IIS but it is still installed. But ok I can uninstall it. What would you recommend afterwards.....?

I just find out that I dont have any acces logs. Is that normal? Should you have acces logs as soon as you start apache or do you have only acces logs when you are looking at pages with apache?
well I have a small network. The server is a normal workstation connected directly by cable to internet and my own computer is the other computer in this small network and is therefore a client from the other. Because I shared internet with the build in tool from xp pro my IP address is assigned...
Sorry but I'm lost. I tried to install and run apache on my windows xp pro system but it wont work. I asked about all kind of things in forums all over the world but nobody seems to have the solution.
When I put http://localhost in my browser it starts looking for it but it wont open the apache...
