Can CF build tables in an Oracle DB??

I have a question as to whether ColdFusion can build tables in a database. I have a web application that needs to get the information from a text file and then build a table from that information. Can CF do this or is it better to use shell scripts for this purpose? Thank You Jennifer

I've also tried the <cfinsert datasource="Bizbul" TABLENAME="TRANSACTION">. This might have worked except my submit button was seen as an attribute and it gave me an error. Any way around that?? Jennifer s-)

Yes Chris, I am using all text fields (probably not the best way to go) but I was trying to simplify things while I learn about this. Darkman, I tried that as well to no avail. I'm just not sure what to do next. Any thoughts are profoundly appreciated. Jennifer s-)
