Reset the IP address on the NIC.If the Nic card won’t let you change (release) ip address on it go to the DOS prompt and type in WINIPCFG /ALL
When it shows you the list of switches look for Release. Release All . After that got the Renew switch and Renew_All. Than reboot your machine.
Call HP it sounds like a hardware issue for sure. I agree with mhughes & cadman.HP Pavilion PC (in and out of warranty) (208) 323-4663. If you have a service contract with them they should send out a tech within 24 hr to remedy the problem. I would look @ the motherboard for starters.
For some unknown reason I am not able to get our windows 2000 server to setup a bdc. I have configured everything and I can't get it to see it as a bdc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
