We have several servers and users on 11 and have had a wide range of issues. We ended optimizing the host for dialup level, even though they are on a high speed circuit. Remember to optimize both the HOST and the REMOTE features.
I agree with Petje. That is one of the new features I like about Ghost, the ability to create and image of a Raid. We use this process for a disaster recovery CD for our servers and it works great!!
We are in the process of developing a new disaster recovery plan. We are using a Bootable CD with a base ghost image to boot the server then automatically restore the server with NT/Veritas/PcAnywhere. Then we are able to perform a complete restore from tape. This part is working out great...
If you are running this everyday, why not run an incremental backup. This should take care of getting all of the files that changed since the previous backup.
There is a Veritas Agent for Exchange Servers that you may need to have to run these backups.
