Finally worked out the problem.
It was simply that may printer port name was too long!!!
I changed it from
\\Epson_lpr\192.000.0.3(EPL-N2050)
to
\\Epson_lpr\192.000.0.3
and its all fine!!

When attempting to print from paradox to an Epson EPL N2050 network laser printer via TCP/IP paradox produces the following error:-

The table is a paradox table as I also have paradox on this machine and can open it without any problems. I also have the Borland database engine installed.

When trying to set up a database connection in VB6 to a paradox table all seems to work OK and the connection tests OK, but when opening the "tables" folder in the data view window, no tables are listed, and an ADO error is returned.
Does anyone know what I've done wrong??
