Move e-mail folder from Win98 to desktop with WinXP

A few years ago I moved all my e-mails from my old Win98 laptop to my WinXP desktop. It seems that not all my e-mails came over. I isolated all the e-mails on the laptop I want to move into a folder in Outlook. I'm trying to figure out the best way to just export that one folder of e-mails so...

Possible successors to Sidekick (I know we don't want to move, but...)

Some more notes on epim... I'm continuing to have problems with this PIM. First off, whether I sync with Outlook or I Export an ical file from epim and Import it into Outlook, some of my birthday and anniversaries come through as duplicates. It's not an Outlook issue because I Imported the...

Possible successors to Sidekick (I know we don't want to move, but...)

Update: I downloaded the trial version for EssentialPIM, which syncs with Outlook. From there I can sync with the Treo. From what I've read in the EPIM forums, they are currently working on syncing directly to Palm. Right now they only sync with Outlook, Pocket PC, and an on-line version of...

Possible successors to Sidekick (I know we don't want to move, but...)

I think I may have found a solution that works for me. I arranged the data as explained in MEdgar7863's post above. I found an online converter to make the CSV files into iCal files ( http://www.manastungare.com/projects/yahoo2ical/ ). I was then able to import the files into Essential PIM...

Possible successors to Sidekick (I know we don't want to move, but...)

OK... downloaded and installed 0.2. When I go to import my CSV file I get a message saying "No events or tasks to import from file multi day.csv" Does anyone have an idea of what I might be doing wrong?

Possible successors to Sidekick (I know we don't want to move, but...)

I've had trouble locating Sunbird 0.2. I downloaded 0.3, but as Martin indicated, it doesn't Import. Does anyone know where I can find 0.2?

Possible successors to Sidekick (I know we don't want to move, but...)

According to these: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/198004/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/158084/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/183775/en-us it was once possible to import Sidekick calendars into Outlook. Does anyone have an older version of Outlook to check this out?

Mozilla Sunbird looks interesting. Is there any way to transfer calendar data from Sidekick 98 to it?

    Trouble Re-Installing Sidekick

Update: Got Sidekick installed, as well as the patch. I'm still unable to restore my data. I had a backup file which isn't completely up do date, but at least it had 99% of what I needed. I would still like to be able to restore the backup I did before uninstalling Sidekick.

    Trouble Re-Installing Sidekick

I downloaded Sidekick in order to uninstall it, then install it again. I backed up all my data, then went with the uninstall. I installed it again, but couldn't install the patch. I kept getting error messages that stated it was missing files and to re-install. Once I opened up the software...

looking for TrueSync - FAQ links no help

The file from tice's web page did not work for me (see first post). I'm downloading your file from yousendit now. Hopefully it will work better. Your instructions were a little more in depth. Maybe that will make the difference. Thanks for going out of your way to do this. I appreciate it..

looking for TrueSync - FAQ links no help

Thanks for the reply. I'm researching the best way for you to send that file, but I'm guessing the only way may be to burn it to a disc and mail it. I have a g-mail address with the same user name I have here in the forums. Contact me there so we can discuss specifics. Thanks!

Support for an independant version of SideKick

The Essential PIM is OK, but if there's no way to transfer over my calendar info from SK98, what's the point?

looking for TrueSync - FAQ links no help

I'm still searching, but I did come across Intellisync, which claims to be the progression from TrueSync. Would Intellisync work with SK 98?

looking for TrueSync - FAQ links no help

I thought I had posted this last week, but can't find it... here goes again: I followed the links in the FAQ looking for a download site for TrueSync. I have a Treo 650 and I want to sync with my Sidekick 98 calendar. One link led to a Motorola site. In order to download the software (I...
