Anyone know if the MSI KT4V-L supports the GeForce FX 5900 and if there are any compatibility problems with it ?
Will my system cope fine with the card as these are my specs.
Windows XP
Athlon XP 2000+
1GB DDR 400Mhz Ram

Hi, i have a problem on a site im helping someone with that when they post news its not keeping the sentence structure with phpnuke 6.5 any idea why ? or how to fix this ?
Do i need chipset drivers for Linux as im using a MSI Via mobo and the system seems fine i just wanted to check if its best to have them.

1) Install Partition Magic
2) Select Install another os
3) Select Linux
4) Format mode 2
5) reboot and let CD-Rom pick the CD up
6) Select your exesting Linux partition that you created
Note: Not sure what bootload SuSe uses to be carefull or do some checking up or you might loose your Windows...
I got the driver in at last doing this.
1) Opend Konsole and typed xtrem *i know i can go to this though the menus*
2) typed init 3 to get into the console and unload X
3) Ran the file *sh filename.run*
4) After install was done ran init 6 to reboot
All seems to work then again there is no...
Also i think the max temp a bios reads atm is 123 same with software so if the CPU still runs without any problems i would think it was just a glitch so check the mobo's site and see if there are any bios updates or if its software then software updateds.
First thing you should have done when you set the pc up *if the option was there* is to set a max temp so it can auto shutdown befor the cpu pops.
Did the CPU pop ?
btw it might not have got to the hemp you said there might have been a glitch and it just said it as if the CPU hit that temp as...
Rurning the PC on and off with cause damage to your mobo/fans/drives/ as your heating then cooling has a good chance as causung dry joints also spliting them as the components expand and so on.
