how much ram do you have installed on this machine...and even at that..sounds like a memory issue to me. if you have have more than 128 you should be fine. but if you have a stick thats going south.....

I do not have this problem with XP and leech. Not to sound lame, but do you have the leech settings correctly? Have you tried to uninstall and then re-install leechftp at the very least?
