Thanks for all your replies. I had taken a guess that I needed to install IIS' SMTP server. So I managed to do that and got it working well enought that I can send myself email from that server via Outlook Express. But of course Alert Manager still refuses to send the test email. I get...- robp29

How To Configure SMTP Alerts?
