i want to rename the server name of websphere 3.5! i have already a name for the server and i want to change it know how do i do that?what are the steps 1 by 1? does any 1 know's of documentation about it? thanks in advance Peleg- pelegk1

request.getParameter();
i am using request.getParameter("myName") in my jsp page. when i do in a javascript function : var x,y; x= <%= request.getParameter("myName") %> //-->> i get NULL y=<%=myName%> // -->> i am reciving my name as it was passed to the page!!! what is that! why x get NULL and y...- pelegk1

how do i read the value that were sent
to my page and how do i add them to a string in the jsp page that i have? is it metter if i read it from get/post or its the same way? and do i need to include any import in my page ? thanks in advance Peleg- pelegk1
