I just got my new Inspiron 5150 notebook w/the wireless card built in. No matter how close I am to the router and what channels it's switched to, the connection goes from excellent and then to low.

HELP!!! To make a long story short, I was modifying the serial interface configs (telnetted in from my remote site to the router in Virginia via the ethernet address) and when I got to the frame-relay dlci-interface information, I lost the router. I didn't do a "wr" on it at anytime...
If you copy the enable secret password from one router and paste it into another router, the secret password should work, correct? Or does the new router not recoginize it?
It's just a little weird that on my AT&T connections, I don't see the DE packets like I do w/the Sprint connections. There are some interfaces we have put traffic shaping on and it has cleaned up the errors but I was thinking of doing intrusive testing on these circuits to see if it would clean...
Question for those who use Sprint for your frame relay connections: We use a performance monitoring tool (Lucent's Vitalnet) and all of our Sprint connections are showing high DE packets. I've heard that all Sprint network connections have high DE packets.
