Thanks a lot for looking into the issue. I finally figured out the solution. It was a security issue. On your windows 2000 server got to start and under the run command type rededt32. Under HKEY_local_machine go to software->ODBC->ODBC.ini select the DSN you are using in the ASP application. Up...- crystalprog
