Samba: Cannot access admin shares on other workstations
Fixed the problem! I didn't know you had to include this line in the global section: domain admin group = root I was under the impression root was by default given admin priv.- TrifeLife

Samba: Cannot access admin shares on other workstations
I have a home.local domain being hosted on a redhat 9 server with latest samba release. Two Windows XP boxes are connected and can login properly and everything seems to be working well except for a small problem. Samba is not using romaing profiles. My computers are: lxserv 192.168.0.3...- TrifeLife

Looses Connection with Server
I have the exact same problem. I can verify that it is not hardware specific, I have notebooks and even desktops (all mixed brands/clones) using offline files all periodically loosing connection. I need that hotfix, does anyone have a pub ftp they can upload it to?- TrifeLife
