When do most adminstrators schedule windows update to run on their Exchange servers? I haven't really been updating my Exchange 2003 server, however, the updates have been downloading.
Just wondering what the norm is for Exchange 2003.
Thanks.
I installed Ex2003 in the same domain and site as Ex5.5 using the ADC and tools for the migration process. All user mailboxes, public and system folders have been migrated or replicated to Ex2003 except for the System Administrator.
Is that enough information? Let me know.
As far as I know, you cannot open your PST file with OWA. We do keep our PST files on a file server but in each user's home directory so they are the only ones with access to it.
I will have port 80 open and 443 for SSL. Do I need other ports open? I have read some things about ports 691, 389, 3268 and 88....are these necessary?
Thanks for your help.
Yes, I am using IE. I think it has something to do with the frontend server not being able to read my mailbox information. Is there any type of access I have to setup?
Thanks, but that didn't work. I only have this setup internally right now - there is no SSL being used at the moment.
Still looking for help. I can see the webpage in colors but it is pretty much written in a text format.
I have set up a new server as a front end server for OWA and when I login to OWA, I get the webpage without any data.
I just shows the form in a text format, without my mailbox info and says it's Loading but nothing ever loads.
Also I only have this set up to work internally now.
I am really...
Are there any good documents out there for setting up an OWA server. I am reading Front-End and Back-End Topology Guide for Exchange Server 2003 but it is telling me to set up a virtual server. Do I need to do this for OWA only? I won't be doing anything else on that server.
I am looking for OWA advice too...trying to find out system requirements. Does anyone know them?
Rick - from what I have been told you do need a license because you have to install the full version of Exchange
When I run a report for pfmigrate I do not see information for the System Folders. I have manually replicated our one form in the EFORMS REGISTRY, can I manually replicate the OFFLINE ADDRESS BOOK and SCHEDULE+FREE BUSY? Is this necessary to do?
Below is the report:
