i have a site that is getting the display messages on the consoles ie B for busy call c for all calls after the CLI
ie 02072463000 to main number B. this is only started happening after one of the consoles had a problem does anyone know if the display message can be turned off

the easiest way to set this up is to install an analog phone then on the 3rd page set the speeed dial up so that it uses system speed. Set up a system speed dial to dial the number you want the phone to dial I.E entry 10 on the speed dial list. Once you have done that go back to the station...
I have all the documentation from avaya but i used to have a software package on my laptop that i used to be able to type in the alarm code and it would tell me what the fix was without having to trawl through the documentation.Has anyone heard of this
Does anyone out there know of a good programme that i can use to tell me what alarm codes are.I used to have one a while ago but i cannot find it anymore

you also need to check the firmware of the ip phones do a list reg on the definity.There is a issue with firmware 2.2 so you need to upgrade if thats what the phones are running

if you go in via telent you will not be able to access the intuity. Its best to get on to the network then open up internet explorer and go in that way

have you listed the data modules and found the one for the announcements and status that data module and see what it comes back with plus it might be wrth testing the dat module as well

you upgrade firmware on the medpro via the clan board and not direct to the medpro onceyou have uploaded the relevant firmware you need to send it from the clan into the medpro

I wonder if anyone has come across this problem that i have with softconsole. When the operator tries to call an extension from the busy lamp field the call goes to a completely different extension and it is not always the same extensions but it seems to be happening on the 2xxx range only...

why don't you use aar digit conversion as you are dialling an extension number and not out of the system.When you enter the imformation into the aar digit conversion screen
delete all the digits and replace with what you need to dial and make sure the type is set to ars
