USB printer connection error - no onboard USB; Secondary USB card only
Anyone have a clue if there is anything special that must be done to have an old Pentium Pro 180MHz Win98SE machine talk to a LexMark X83 USB printer? The motherboard does not have onboard USB, so I installed a PCI USB card in the hopes that it would still work. The port setting is LPT1, but...- teee

Backup Exec ... There must be a better solution!!!
If you are using Windows NT/2000, you can just stop and restart the backup exec services instead of rebooting the entire server. You will find 'Services' in the control panel under administrative tools. This is the only way I know of to abort a "stuck" job. What version of Backup...- teee
