    install SCO 5.0.5 on proliant 800...ping not working

    hello, I'm trying to install SCO 5.0.5 on proliant 800. Got the smartstart 5.50 disk. Made the EFS floppies and loaded the EFS. That detected the NIC, but after rebooting, ping won't work. It says it detected cnet, ifconfig -a shows the ip address...but trying to ping other machines doesn't...
