Primary IDE on KT4V not working
Okay. Perhaps I wasn't specific enough. I have it set so the Maxtor HD is the Primary Master, the DVDROM is the secondary master... no dice. The DVD will detect... but the HD, no way. The jumpers are set properly. I tried removing the DVD's IDE cable from the board to see if the HD would detect...- EtruscanPH

Primary IDE on KT4V not working
Well, the Audigy2 works with the mobo. Only problem is, the HD won't detect on the primary IDE channel. It's currently set up so the DVD-ROM is the primary IDE, and the HD is the secondary. But this is working around the problem... I'm trying to find a more reasonable solution. I'll buy a new...- EtruscanPH
