could be your soundcard settings.Audio files are usually 44.1.If your soundcard supports different sample rates and is locked to a different rate than 44.1 you will get this problem

Hi ski.Thanx for your help.Finally got it sorted.I changed the cd rom for a spare one I had and Nero communicated with it straight away.The spare was a Sony---the other was an Afreey. Must have been incompatable.

No you can't log in with two user names but if you try a Program called "Trillion" you can do this. However, it doesn't yet have support for video and sound.
