Getting rid of Image Composer Introduction screen

Look for the little check box that says something like "don't show this message again". I never get that message. Have been using image composer for years. My favorite MS product. Too bad they bailed on it.

Will most servers accept web pages created with 2002?

I use FP2002 most of the time and our host supports 2000. I keep 2000 around only for the navagation bars which changed for 2002. Other than that I have no problems. I am hoping our host upgrades soon. I do like FP2002 better but admit to being a bit disappointed - I was hoping the...

Has anyone installed it yet? I have mine on order but haven't received it yet. As I have a major web site that depends on it, I was wondering if there were any Gotchas.

New page doesn't have shared border - why?

Actually there is a default setting that will indeed pop up the borders every time you create a new page. I do this all the time.

Address of page changes adding (%20) within the address

Actally I didn't respond fully. The %20 stands for space. so your file name may be: John Smith.html and the system changes it to John%20Smith.html so that Unix will recognize the space.

Address of page changes adding (%20) within the address

    Error message when Publishing

I have this problem occasionally and just keep publishing until it eventlually finishes. If you are doing ALL of your web and it's big, your server may be timing out after "x" minutes arbitrarily. This has happened to me when I was first uploading the site, and then rarely happens...

Why do my graphics keep moving around in FP2000?

Putting images and photos in tables is really the best way to control how they look. In fact, I put everything, absolutely everything in tables. www.animalmatch.net the web site for the animal shelters of the greater los angeles area.

Actually you CAN upload to AOL - and there is full documentation on the knowledgebase. I am going into a meeting right now - will look up the article and send it on afterwards.

    going nuts / volviendome loca

Sorry - No espanol! Will reply in English. I put images in tables all the time - several hundred a day. One way is to do a Ctl-C on the image and then put your cursor on the table and do a Ctl-V and it will pop into the table. Another way is to an Alt I P F and that will take you to a...

Unknown HTML tags in Front Page

Actually I do the exact opposite of what you are doing and find it much less frustrating. If I am going to copy something written in Word, I copy and paste it into Notepad. This removes everything invisible. I then immediately copy it back and put it into Front Page. Then if it needs further...

    print runs off page

Actually I create a lot of intranet web pages whose purpose is to be printed out. I learned to put everything in tables, and I set the table width to 710. That seems to work for a standard laser printer paper. Everything in tables.
