Level II refers to TSB-67 standard. This is a testing standard for CAT5 systems. This standard is obsolete now with introduction of 568-B.2

Is there a international standard for equipment mounting racks ? Which are those and from where I can get them ? I am searching for mechanical dimension details which i need to follow for the equipment which I am developing to meet the standards.
I have a situation where the CAT5e cable length is short and I have no alternative excpet use some splicing system to extend the length. What products I can use to splice CAT5e cables ?
Mode conditioning patch cord is used in a situation where the backbone cable is multimode and the optical interface on the switch port is having 1310nm laser source. Currently you have monomode backbone cable already installed and the switch ports are having multimode (I presume it as 850nm)...
What is the best way to document patching details in a wiring closet ? Is it a normal practice to put number tags to bothe ends of RJ45 CAT5e patch cords when used for patching ? Can any one share templates of good practices in documenting a cable infrastructure
Has any one used Krone LSA-Plus module for data transmission between 2Mbps to 100Mbps ? Is it rated for such application ? Where can I get complete specification of this product ?
In that cisco document, there is a mention of type of clocking which also influences the distance of V.35 cable. I did not understand that fully. Can any one explain ?
One of the cisco documents recommend length of V.35 cable versus transmission speed. This document also refers to a graph published in EIA422 standard which gives further details. Can any one provide this graph ? Also some practical recommendations about this subject is welcome.
I have given 192.168.10.1 to ethernet port and 203.100.5.1 as secondary address to that port. Can I use this secondary address (alias IP) to unnumber a serial interface ?
I have a few questions :
I have a router with 2 serial interface and one ethernet port. Both serial ports are connected to different networks.
1. Is it possible to use IP un-number to both serial interface ?
2. The ethernet port has an IP number which i use to un-number s0. I also have an...
While maintaining a distance of 1/2" is possible with 8 position jacks, I am finding it more difficult to do that in IDC modules like Krone LSA and High band modules. Is there any seperate standard for removal of sheath for terminating on IDC modules (8 pair or 10 pair) ?
I understand that while terminating a CAT5e cable, the cable pair untwist should be kept minimum (typically 13mm). Is there any similar guideline for stripping of outer sheath of the CAT5e cable ? Is that just an industry practice or documented in any standard ?
I understand that some cisco products supply power on same wires which carry Ethernet i.e, pair 1,2,3,6
There are also products which supply power through unused pairs like 4,5, 7 and 8. It is impornat to know more details of the product used to power up IP Phones.
Anaerobic cure time is much shorter than what I stated earlier. Has anyone experienced more failures with such ultrafast curing anaerobic adhesives ? Does construction of connector influences the type of adhesive to be used ? Many manufacturers of connector prefer to use slow cure epoxies (or...
Some installers who field connectorise fiber cable use Loctite 324 and 7075 based anaerobic structural adhesive. With this the curing time is very fast and within 30 minutes to 1 hour the adhesive cures ready for polishing.
Other installers use different type epoxy which takes almost 18 hours...
