    Muliple user and performance

I hope by now this has taken care of itself -but - I don't know if this was touched, and I hate to sound simplistic but are you connected by hub or switch?

    Ini file

I still can't imagine (after all these years...) why someone would want to use the registry. Programs with their own private environment and INI files is so much cleaner!

How to flush printer buffer (VFP8)

Frankly, I have tried all of these and the 2 "SET PRINTER TO" statements seems to be the best solution (IMHO...)

    Project Build - "Unknown Filters"

Fellow list members: I am developing in VFP 6. When I tried to build my project recently (EXE file) I don't get the expected "programname.exe" Instead the status bar indicates "Build Project: Unknown Filters". Any idea what this means??

Designing a VFP Multi-User Application (or "Gosh, I need help!")

AllanB1: Thanks for the link. I have covered this topic numerous times, yet I feel I am still lacking a step-by-step on actual implementation within a working app.

Designing a VFP Multi-User Application (or "Gosh, I need help!")

First mgagnon: Thank you for your response. I think the server/server solution is to abstract and Foxpro 2.x based. A company I worked for had such a solution. I don't think that using VFP in such a manner as they were using - without user tracking, and robust record locking - is an option...

Designing a VFP Multi-User Application (or "Gosh, I need help!")

Dear Members: I have started on a re-write for a client that has a FoxPro 2.5 program. It has Inventory/PO/Customer/Supplier/SO functions. All screens and reports are self coded - meaning none of the 2.x screen writer or report writer, etc. Now, to redo something like this with VFP 6 is in...

    Viewing all code snippets

Thank you for the suggestion! That is quite useful, but only half a solution. I was wondering if all the snippet/procedures can be viewed and edited at once - ala VB and VBA in Access.

    Viewing all code snippets

Hi guys: Is it possible to view in one screen/report all the code snippets that make up an application, I.E. form procedures, classes etc. in from one central location? Are there any 3rd party tools that offer this enhancement?

    Scanned Image

Thanks Mike! Your post is a breath of fresh air! I did get the Scan Control to work, however there is a problem with using the "SetPageTypeCompressionOpts" method. My scanner (Visioneer 9000 USB) does not respond to this command and I confirmed this in the Kodak Image Control readme...

    Scanned Image

I have attempted to install the Kodak Image Control on Win XP and I have tried using it in VFP6 with no results. I.E. I have not been able to view the picture (a tiff file) and the program does not recognize the OLE control name ("no property imgEdt1 found" etc.). I hav echecked and...
