Yes, I did copied the project from CD. I have verified the file attributes and it had Read and archive. I have unchecked the read attribute and have tried i again. It works. Thanks so much for your reply.
I tried running VFP 6.0 on a Windows2000 and also Windows NT but I'm getting "Project file is read only". Do any of your guys know what I could do to make me able to open the project file and do some updates on my project? Also be able to build an .EXE? Please help. Thanks so much.

I have a situation that there are times my tablename.CDX size becomes 0K (zero in size) and it creates problem when I start using the table. How can I prevent this .CDX to have a 0K in size.
