I take it you're referring to the spreadsheet file itself—not, say, to the use of spreadsheets by corrupt accountants. There wouldn't be much we could do about that. :?)
Thanks, I saw that. It describes only how to change commands' accelerator keys (their underlined letters on menus). What I'm looking for is how to change commands' actual keyboard shortcuts (which appear next to the commands' names), and how to add them to commands that don't have them.
Hi,
Is there any way to customize keyboard shortcuts in Publisher 2003, the way there is in Word 2003? I see that I can pay for software to do this, but is that the only way?
I realize I can use macros, but it'd be great to actually change the key assignments. Any freeware, registry hacks...
Hi,
My system started doing a strange thing a couple of weeks ago. When I turn it on, the screen remains blank. The fans start; however, there are no beeps from BIOS to indicate any specific problems. (The PC speaker isn't broken.) The reset button has no effect. I must turn the power off, then...
I was having this problem in Windows XP. Whenever I opened a file window, everything stopped while the system checked my empty floppy drive.
It was Norton AntiVirus 2002. Apparently, whenever you act like you're going to run something, NAV's Auto-Protect feature checks _all_ drives by default...
> You might want to check you're using Frame properly.
Hmm---if I didn't know better, I'd say you were patronizing me. :?)

Unfortunately, that doesn't solve the problem. If your...
I use books to organize general sections: front matter, TOC, chapters (as one file), index, etc. You're right, though---it's a good idea to make each chapter a file, if only for the reason we're discussing. Thanks for the idea.
Oh, okay, I didn't read your reply closely enough. Sure, ten bucks I can handle.
But I'm still baffled why Frame---through v.6, at least---does this. Certainly they didn't assume that everyone used just "Right" and "Left"...?
I guess I was just looking for a bit of...
And all this time I thought I was just stupid or crazy. :?P
So, until now, everyone's been doing this by hand?? Why on earth induced Adobe to withhold such basic functionality?
It's especially ironic, considering that Frame's main selling-point is its management of large documents. The larger...
David: Thanks for your reply. Yes, I know Frame can use default Left/Right master pages, if that's what you mean.
Let's say you've created a 100-page document in which you've set up master pages for Left, Right, and First (for chapter headers).
The boss then sends you some pages to insert, or...
Hi,
When you add a page to a Frame document, Frame should apply the Right/Left master-page usage to the new page. When you delete a page, it should leave the other pages unchanged.
It doesn't, of course. Frame keeps the same master-page usage sequence, so everything ends up one page off. I...
Hi everybody,
Can you help me with a baffling problem? In the book I'm editing, I have some small gray side-head boxes (anchored frames) containing two or three words. I've defined a light gray background color (RGB 94, 94, 94) for the boxes, and used it as their fill color.
The boxes look...
