There are cetain columns where we find the length more than 50-100 but the data is rather small. You ca reduce the length for display. column column_name format A20 Or column column_name format 9999.99 It is very useful . regards

I feel what Carp says is right. Though Cursors are discouraged but this seems a perfect candidate for use of cursors. If its a really huge table then may be some other way needs to be foud out because in such a case cursor would make it slow. Regards Prosenjit
