sys-unconfig is evil IMHO.
Where you change your IP depends on which (if any) name service you are using. Update your DNS/NIS records if necessary.

I have created the raw file system(c1t1d0s0) in sun 8.I want to create a character device in /dev by the name raw_01 and want to link it with the raw file system which i have created(c1t1d0s0). Any help on this will be highly appreciated.
Try ln.
Also /dev/rdsk is raw.

Your other option would be do run a manual 'offline' mirror. Slice your alternate disk the same as your primary and then do a dd copy of each slice on the primary disk to the alternate disk. You can easily script this and run it periodically via cron.
