Big John, Thanks for your advice. I went back and changed the language to UK English and surprise surprise my hyphenation problem was solved. Apparently when I installed the program I selected UK english so when the text was under US English it didn't know where to hyphenate. Thanks for your...- darinka

John, No it's not force-justified. It's just justified and the language selected is US English. I've never had this problem in any of my documents ... this one seems to have a mind of it's own! Any further suggestions? Linda- darinka

I have created a document in which the text is justified. However, it won't let me hyphenate. I go to the Type menu and Hyphenation and turn on the Hyphenation but it will only let me click on Manual only (the other 2 options are grey). Any changes that I make in the Hyphenation zone does not...- darinka
