I would use a variation of Jontmke's suggestion and use Partition Magic (or a similar freeware app such as Ranish PM http://www.ranish.com/part/ ) to shrink C: and then expand D:

I would use Partition Magic to tackle this problem. The maximum number of primary partitions you can have is 4 (or 3 plus one extended partition) so you would be just at this limit.
