    Overwriting media name with backup date - Arcserve 2000

    Just use * for destination name, and Arcserve will name the tape with the date of job start. I use it occasionally. Cheers, Mikeyb

    I had just seen this a few weeks ago, where a gif file was being reported as a 4 gigabyte file. Check to see is you have issues with reporting the accurate size of thos files. Cheers,

    Arcserve Problems

    I had a similar problem, but it was with Netware! I did another restore without the trustees rights and it worked for me.. Can't hurt to try! Cheers,

    Problems with ArcServe 7 for NetWare

    I had the exact same issue about 2 weeks ago. I ended up doing another restore, only this time I did not restore the trustees rights. This did the trick for me. Let me know how it turns out for you. Cheers, RB
