Seeing a win2k machine from a win98 machine
Yes its possible to do. I have setup networks with W2k machines where the shares can be accessed also by W98 boxes. Incorrect Alt Key characters in Win2K
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure that the problem occurs with all fonts (but I will check it again on Monday). The problem occurs in all apps. where you can use the Alt +nnnn keys. Also the code page settings seem ok.- dpeter

Incorrect Alt Key characters in Win2K
Three out of four machines in our small network are displaying Alt key characters incorrectly. For instance Alt 163 shows a Heart character instead of the U Acute (ú). The problem ia also with the ANSI code page (eg Alt 0224 or Alt 0128). Its as if part of the code page translation file is...- dpeter
