I had to recreate the Exchange database in 5.5 and restore all mailboxes using Veritas 8.5 sbs. That went well except that the calanders did not restore. I tried to restore only the calanders and the job completes successfully but no appointments actually appear.
Any help on getting my...

Thanks for the advice but it didn't resolve my problem.
I don't believe the drives are fragmented to the point that it would be a problem. The server is less than a year old and doesn't have a lot of data being changed.
The defrag program doesn't hang it just doesn't start to defrag.
The defrag util on my Windows 2000 sp4 server starts but when I click on Analyse or defrag nothing happens. Nothing get entered into the event logs and there are no errors of any kind.
I've rebooted the server and I am logged on as Administrator.
Any help is appreciated.
It looks like it's caused when Symantec receives a bad email and tries to perform a DNS lookup for the domain of the bad email. I just deleted the email from the Symantec queue and the problem went away.
We have a W2K sp4 server running Symantec Gateway v3.1 and we're finding a lot of warnings and some errors from Symantec. I can't find these errors listed in Symantec or Microsoft's KB. Any help is appreciated.

We are slowly migrating users from netware 5.1 to a Windows 2000 domain. When we copy the user folder from Netware to the 2000 server all the folder dates change to todays date. I need a way to keep the folder date (and file date) to the original creation date. Any help?
It sounds like your HTTP service is configured to use Users instead of IP's to access the Internet. You can remove the users and let the "ANY" option give access to everyone. Or, you can use users and the IP's of the workstations that need Internet access.
If everyone is going to...
We are looking at a solution to minimize downtime and also have a backup for disaster recovery. We are considering using Wansync for this solution. I has hoping someone has tried this package and could give me some feedback.

We currently have a server running SBS 4.5 and BackupExec v7. I am removing the old server and installing a newer server running the same programs. But when installing BackupExec it says it is looking for the SBS 4.0 Management Console and will not install. I believe I may need v7.3 to...
