    OLP workbook for 7.1

I have 7.0, which I downloaded from the Nortel site with 6.0, 6.1, and 6.1_MR, but I'm not certain if OLP 7.1 even exists. I just assumed that with every new release of Norstar software, there would be a corresponding OLP workbook for that release.

    OLP workbook for 7.1

I know this thread was touched on in 2008, but does anyone have the actual OLP workbook for 7.1 (naics7_1.xls)? It's not included with the NRU 11 download, nor can I locate it anywhere on the Nortel site...

    Norstar version conversion table question

Thank you, firebirdscrambler and curlycord, for pointing me in the right direction! The Norstar systems FAQ Index is fantastic! http://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=799

    Norstar version conversion table question

Is there a table available that I could use to cross reference the version code found on a Norstar, and if so where can I obtain it? I am remotely accessing this unit, and the only code I find under System Version is SP: 30DEC12 NAT? I will be accessing many more in the future, so any...

Error 121: Fatal exception during script execution

Hello Knob, I have put your modified script into action, and am happy to report all is well. Thank you very much for all your help, we don't know what we'd do without you! [thumbsup2]

Error 121: Fatal exception during script execution

Hello Knob, Yes, you are correct with all of your assumptions. A few things I thought I should add: I am running Procomm Plus 4.8 on a Windows 2003 Server (SP2) with 1 GB RAM, and am using a US Robotics 56K external modem.

Error 121: Fatal exception during script execution

Knob, Thanks for taking a look at this. As you can see, the attached script is fairly basic, and probably not too well written either, but it serves it's purpose quite well. I have noticed that the error seems to occur at the end of the script (which I have placed a comment at) proc main...

Error 121: Fatal exception during script execution

I am receiving the message 'Error 121: Fatal exception during script execution' occasionally when using the Procomm dialing queue. I have a fairly simple data collection script that I manually launch after each connection has been established, and this error pops up when the script is...

    Automatic capture file naming question

Knob, thank you very much! The script works perfectly!

    Automatic capture file naming question

I am trying to modify an existing script so that when the capture file is automatically created, the name of the Directory Entry will be included as part of the file name. I have placed a comment on line 14, as I think this is where I need the command. This script does continue on, (although I...

How do I take captured text and put it into Excel?

Thanks Jamie. I actually do make use of Dave Higham's Excel parser utilities quite often, but in many cases running an entire TNB can take several hours. My reporting needs don't need to be quite so granular, and since I have to run these 'port counts' from hundreds of PBXs, time is a big...

How do I take captured text and put it into Excel?

Thanks for the quick responses, Kodr and Knob! I actually do have a fair amount of this scripted to capture the data into text files, but it hadn't occurred to me that the data could be saved as csv? Great idea! I am going to give that a shot in the morning and I'll post the results. I am...

How do I take captured text and put it into Excel?

I am hoping that someone can help me grasp the method of taking simple text from a capture file and putting it into Excel so that the data can be manipulated or reported on? Here is one basic scenario... I want to take the following text and put it in Excel, via Aspect scripting: REQ SLT...

    Telephony Mgr 3.1

I have been using both for about 12 years now. There are good and bad points for each, but when it comes to mass changes or bulk installations, OTM/TM is the way to go. Using the TM import utility, you can create 1 set or thousands of sets, and in any configuration you like. I imagine if you...

    Telephony Mgr 3.1

The fix is fairly simple. From the TM server itself, launch/login TM as an administrator. Expand your site and system until you see 'System Window' appear. Double click on it. When the next window appears, Click on File, then Update System Data. Leave the choices as they are and click OK...

    Meridian PBX LD 81 script

Thanks for the quick response, dbsquared! Unfortunately, I'm fairly new to Aspect programming, but I am learning and will try to integrate your example code in my script. Are you aware of any text books that may be available that teach Aspect programming in a step-by-step method?

    Meridian PBX LD 81 script

I am trying to create a script that will help me with port counts that I have to produce for several Meridian PBXs. I currently utilize a script that I created using the record feature in Procomm, but I would like be able to take the values that are captured while the script is running and save...

Connecting Onto A Meridian Option 11 Switch with Procomm Plus 4.8

I dial into Meridian systems all day long and have the best luck with VT100 terminal emulation and X-modem protocol. You may also find that changing your modem hardware settings, located in the advanced tab under Modem/Connection properties, to 7 data bits, Even parity, and 1 stop bit may prove...
