I forgot to say I don't mind keeping two sets of
User logins(we only have 10 employee's this will be on it's own domain
so when a user on the inside opens outlook it
will prompt them to input their
username
domain
passowrd
other then that little hassle I think this will work
and eliminates...
Need thoughts
Put an exchange server in the dmz
allow pop3 external client, smtp from outside
naturaly inside will have full access
so I should be able to rpc to it(from inside)
using outlook by host file
ie 172.17.1.9 exchsrv.
any pros cons
That is what I have when I make changes in dns
on 177.177.0.1 it tries to update 208.0.0.2
because this is the secondary name server.
I need 177.177.0.1 to see 208.0.0.2 instead of 177.177.0.2
is this a problem because they are on the smae interface.
trying to get dns1 to talk to dns2 on the dmz
dns1 realip 208.0.0.0.1 nat 177.177.0.1
dns2 realip 208.0.0.0.2 nat 177.177.0.2
error showing up
no translation group found for udp src dmz 177.177.0.2 dest dmz 208.0.0.1
how do I get these to talk to each other with real ips
Thanks
Dave
All default info has been removed. As well Ip's
What I would like to know is this correct.
I need outside people to have limited access
to 206.xxx.xxx.xx6(dmz) for smtp,pop3,dns,http
the dmz only needs to access outside for this.
As well the Inside needs full access outside
and to the dmz...
