I have just installed XP professional. Whenever I try to do anything (type in URL in I.E, or type something in Run command), I get an error that Explorer has caused a problem, and I have the oppurtunity to submit this to microsft. Out of range - NEC Flat screen
When I have a DOS screen (post) I can see information on the monitor. As soon as the video initializes, my monitor comes up with Out of Range. I plug in another monitor and it is fine. I'm thinking it's a conlict between my Monitor and my ATI 128m 8500LE. Does anyone know how to reset to...- Bretalyzer

ATI 8500 LE video problem (no video even in Safe Mode)
My problem is that when you boot up the computer, it says the monitor is out of frequency. I go into safe mode, and the same thing comes up. It's a flat screen. ATI 8500 LE AGP is the video. My cousin was updating his video card drivers, and this is what is happening after the fact.- Bretalyzer
