I have been struggling with what appears to be a memory allocation problem and quite possibly java VM too.
After working with big programs for a awile(MS Word, SQL SERVER Enterprise Manager, Visual InterDev, FrontPage 2000, MS Access, OutLook, etc)
I get "not enough quota to ....."...

I found it.
Seems IOMEGA Zip drive, which didnt have the right drivers for serial for win2K anyway was creating a special (Virtual???) USB port. I tried uninstalling, but kept coming back on reboot.
This is what was causing the malfunction, and together with clearing the BIOS memory...
"Onchip USB 0 and Onchip USB 1"
I have looked through each section of the BIOS and all I see are
Onboard USB Function and Onboard USB Function for DOS....
These are both enabled.

I have windows 2000 pro, 633Mhz,M754LMR motherboard, with over 300MB ram......
USB ports are not showing in device manager and web cam, etc will not install....
get a "Device could not start" error in the property sheet.
What am I missing?
The onboard "enable USB" is on...
