Tried that one already. But doesn't seem to the trick. Think that thats only to do with downloading or opening a file.

Nope, won't work. If i watch the processes in Task Manager, Iexplore.exe will be started and immediatly closed. Only program to open tif in W2K is Windows Picture and Fax viewer or MSPaint.
I'm at a client of mine and just upgraded to IE6 SP1 on Win2000Prof. The client uses an applitation wich wants to open tif files in IE. After the upgrade they found out that this wasn't possible anymore.
Searched MS Knowledge base and found out that MS thought it was a good idea to put those...
