Cheers for the reply, but it's not quite what I'm after, it's so that users can print from an old DOS shell program which can only print to LPT1 or 2, so I need to capture the printers path to a LPT1/2 port and leave the driver on windows alone, any printer will do but normally an HP LJIII...
