ASP page automatic export type for PDF?

I have tried to use the simplereportexport.asp file, as included in the example from Crystal. It doesn't work, and just errors out, to the point where now I'm getting that annoying "5 concurrent users limit" error. I hate Crystal Reports. Can anyone tell me, do I need to install...

    HTML Viewer and ASP?

Thanks. I have done some more research on it, and found that the HTML viewer isn't the best for printing, either. I've switched to the java viewer. One of the issues with the ActiveX viewer was that the print button was not showing up on certain machines. This doesn't seem to be an issue...

    HTML Viewer and ASP?

I've been using an Active X viewer for a few reports I've got, but due to some general buggy-ness, I'd like to try the HTML viewer. Problem is, I cannot find any good examples of one. I have the one off the crystal site, but the HTML viewer page only redirects you to the rptserver.asp. I...

How to print Crystal reports from an asp page?

Thanks, Tim. It has occured to me that being able to access the user's printer from ASP code is kind of a dangerous thing, but I thought I had heard somewhere that it was possible. My boss has this idea of what needs to be done. I'm ready to tell him this is the way it's going to be...

How to print Crystal reports from an asp page?

Hello, I need to print a report from an asp page, preferably without the user even seeing the report. Or, to allow some fields to be visible, but when printing only some of the fields print off. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

Need help with CR 8.5 and ASP

Actually, my apologies, but I did not post a follow-up. I should have. I made my report dynamic by getting the id in the asp page, and setting up my query there. I then passed the query using the querystring method. The report loads, hits the database with the SQL I pass in, and all is well.

Need help with CR 8.5 and ASP

I'm trying to run a dynamic report, calling it from ASP. The report works/displays great, if I hard-code the ID # I'm querying the database on. How do I make it dynamic, so if I pass a value to it, it will query the database on that value? Many thanks for any and all help given.
