Reinit your database (using Server Admin, then click on the
Database Engine tab, then go in menu Operation / Initialize database).
Then, mount a tape you want to restore in your drive, go to
Manager then Utilities, and select Merge.

This could be a license issue. Check your netware and arcserve licenses. Also, if you're trying to restore a distant server, keep in mind that Arcserve could use up to 3 concurrent connections... Hope this helps

Never do this! Just uninstall and reinstall Arcserve on the
new computer. If needed for restore, just merge the tapes you need. It's much easier and it's safest way to do it!
