XP & 98 local net not working

Windows 98 Hangs on Logo
I had the same problem with my machine hanging after downloading the updated from McAfee. I was told to start in SAFE MODE then look at the autoexec.bat file. There was a line added to it that included @ON ERROR pause. Had to remove it. Also I had to rename a file or two. You can contact...- KoolHAnd

XP & 98 local net not working
I recently got DSL and hooked up a LinkSys router up to the DSL modem. I have a 98 machine and an XP machine. Both machines can get ou to the WAN but cannot see each other on the LAN. I have even tried the XP wizard to setup both machines. I need to share a couple of directories and...- KoolHAnd
